OahuMPO is soliciting comments on Draft Revision #20 to the FFYs 2011-2014 TIP*. In TIP Revision #20, five projects are added to the TIP, five projects are deleted from the 4-year TIP, and one project is deleted from the 4-year TIP and the 2-year illustrative period. A summary of the changes to each project is provided on page 3 of the TIP revision. All of the City’s projects with FHWA funding programmed in FFY 2014 are included in this revision in light of the fact that the City’s program is over-budget. By including all of the City’s FFY 2014 FHWA-funded projects within the amendment, the Policy Committee will have maximum flexibility to achieve the required fiscal constraint. Comments may be mailed, faxed, or emailed to OahuMPO no later than Friday, February 1, 2013.
*The City and County of Honolulu is using the TIP public involvement process, as outlined in the Federal Highway Administration/Federal Transit Administration metropolitan transportation planning regulations (23 CFR 450/49 CFR 613), to satisfy the public hearing requirements for the Federal Transit Administration’s Urbanized Area Formula Program (49 USC Section 5307) program-of-projects.
