The Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization (OahuMPO) complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 49 CFR, part 21, and all related regulations and directives. It assures that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity under any of its program, activity or service. It assures also that every effort will be made to prevent the discrimination of low-income and disadvantaged populations following Executive Order 12898, Federal Actions to Address Environmental Justice in Minority Populations and Low-Income Populations. Finally, it assures that every effort will be made to provide meaningful access to persons that have Limited English Proficiency (“LEP”), following Executive Order 13166, Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency.
