a. Presentation of Response to OahuMPO Vision Zero Policy Draft 1
Ken Farm and sub-committee on pedestrian safety members
On September 18, the OahuMPO staff presented draft 1 of a proposed Vision Zero resolution for Policy Board adoption. The CAC subcommittee on pedestrian safety reviewed this draft in its past meetings and have recommendations.
Requested Action: Accept the input of the CAC subcommittee on Pedestrian Safety as part of CAC’s recommended feedback to the current draft 1.

a. Title VI/Environmental Justice (T6/EJ) Implementation Plan Update

This is an informational presentation on T6/EJ Program expected of MPOs and
OahuMPO’s approved combination plan for FHWA and FTA.

b. CAC member orientation & 2019 Survey results

i. This training covers the function, procedures, and responsibilities of the CAC as well as how to participate through OahuMPO’s four major planning documents and public involvement.
ii. Presentation of OahuMPO CAC survey, including demographics and expectations of participants.
c. Overall Work Program (OWP) FFY2021 Call for Early Input

i. Presentation of candidate work elements proposed by CAC members for FY2021 OWP.
ii. Update on OWP FY2020 recommendation re: North Shore Corridor Study
iii. Eligible CAC members vote on the priority OWP work elements to be
recommended to the Policy Board.

Parking will not be validated.

The City and County of Honolulu is using the OahuMPO TIP public involvement process, as outlined in the Federal Highway Administration/Federal Transit Administration metropolitan transportation planning regulations (23 CFR 450/49 CFR 613), to satisfy the public hearing requirements for the Federal Transit Administration’s Urbanized Area Formula Program (49 U.S.C. Section 5307) program-of-projects.
