1.         Approval of the February 20, 2008  Meeting Minutes

·        Ron Mobley, Professional Registered Parliamentarian, will summarize some key points of order according to Robert’s Rules of Order as noted in previous CAC meetings.

 

3.         New Business

·      FY 2009 Draft Overall Work Program (OWP)

·        Randolph Sykes, Planning Program Coordinator of the OahuMPO, will present the draft FY 2009 OWP, highlighting its seven new work elements. 

·      Central Oahu Regional Transportation Issues

·        Richard Poirier, Chair, Mililani/Melemanu/Waipio Neighborhood Board #25, will discuss transportation issues faced by residents in his community.

·      Update on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Subcommittee

·        Scott Belford, Chair of the PPP Subcommittee, will present the subcommittee’s findings for consideration by the CAC.

·      “The CAC and the Metropolitan Transportation Planning Process”

·        Gordon Lum, Executive Director of the OahuMPO, will discuss the opportunities for participation by the CAC in the metropolitan transportation planning process.

·        A summary of the OahuMPO Policy Committee and Technical Advisory Committee meetings held since the February 20, 2008 CAC meeting will be given.

 

6.         Announcements

 

Information on transit access via TheBus is available by calling 848-5555 or by visiting www.thebus.org.   Pedestrian access is from Punchbowl and King Streets; bicycle racks are available at Honolulu Hale.  Wheelchair access is provided in front of Honolulu Hale, parallel to King Street. Take elevators inside Honolulu Hale to the 3rd floor.  Automobile parking is available in the City & County of Honolulu parking lot at the Fasi Municipal Building (free after 4:00 p.m.); entrances are located on Beretania & Alapai Streets. 

 Parking will not be validated.

Participants who need special accommodations to participate at this meeting should call the OahuMPO office at 587‑2015 at least five (5) business days prior to the meeting.
