2007 Meeting Minutes
2.
Draft FYs 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement
Program (TIP)*
· A presentation will be made on the Draft FYs 2008-2011 TIP. Representatives from the Hawaii Department of Transportation and the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services will provide information about projects in the draft TIP which are sponsored by their respective agencies. The agency representatives will also be presenting information on the projects proposed by the CAC in their Subcommittee Report.

The public review
period for the Draft FYs 2008-2011 TIP is underway. Comments on the draft TIP may be mailed,
emailed, or faxed to the OahuMPO office no later than Friday, July 13, 2007.
*“The TIP public involvement process, as outlined in
the Federal Highway Administration/Federal Transit Administration metropolitan
transportation planning regulations, is being used to satisfy the
program-of-projects requirements of the Federal Transit Administration’s
Urbanized Area Formula Program.”

CAC Bylaws Amendment
·
A proposal to
amend the bylaws which prohibit an individual from serving as Chair or Vice
Chair for more than four consecutive years will be discussed, along with a
possible recommendation.
4.
CAC Nomination Subcommittee Formation
·
A
subcommittee will be formed to select a slate of CAC officers for the FY
2008. CAC members will be asked to
participate on the subcommittee.
5.
CAC and Policy Committee Interaction
·
A suggestion to
encourage interaction between the CAC and the Policy Committee will be
discussed, along with a possible recommendation.
6.
OahuMPO Meeting Highlights
·
A summary of
the OahuMPO Policy Committee and Technical Advisory Committee meetings that
have been held since the April 2007 CAC meeting will be given.

Wheelchair access is provided in front of Honolulu Hale, parallel to King
Street. Take elevators inside Honolulu Hale to the 3rd floor.
Automobile parking is available in the City & County of Honolulu
parking lot at the Fasi Municipal Building (free after 4:00 p.m.); automobile
entrances are located on Beretania & Alapai Streets. Parking will not be
validated.

587‑2015 at least three (3) business days prior to the meeting.
